About the M&A process
What is FINAAS's role in an M&A process?
FINAAS primarily acts as sell-side financial advisor. From target identification through valuation, negotiation, deal structuring and closing, we stand alongside shareholders at every stage and manage coordination with tax and legal teams.
How is a company valued?
We combine internationally accepted methods: Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), trading comparables and transaction comparables. A value range is established based on the company's growth profile, profitability and sector dynamics.
How long does a typical M&A process take?
Including preparation, marketing (building the buyer pool), due diligence, negotiation and closing, a typical sell-side process takes 4-9 months. The timeline depends on the company's readiness, the number of buyers and the complexity of the transaction.
What size and sector of companies do you advise?
Our primary focus is technology and technology-adjacent sectors: SaaS, e-commerce, digital services, fintech, mobile technologies. Fast-growing scaleups and companies preparing for IPO or investor exit are our primary client profile.
